Leading by Example with Wyatt Mace

Are you leading by example? This is the goal of our guest today, Wyatt Mace. Wyatt has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and stepped up in times that leadership was needed. The husband and father of two girls grew up playing baseball in a good community that really supported him. As an adult, he moved away for a short time and was a personal trainer and nutritionist. 

When his wife got pregnant, they decided it was time to move back home, and Wyatt noticed a need in the community. There were no real ‘healthy fast food’ options, so he started a meal prep company. He had some success with this and eventually went on to sell the company. 

In October of 2018, Wyatt set off on a new adventure and started an insurance agency. He started out with one staff member and really thought of her as more of a partner. He had never been in a leadership role before at the time. As the years have gone by, Wyatt now has purchased two more agencies and has a total of 12 employees.

Wyatt credits much of his drive and success to the support he has received from his wife over the years. She has always supported him and cheered him on, and that has been such an important part of his journey.
